Before You Start
Make sure your club has a valid, active license key. Go to the Club page and verify the license status shows Valid. Only clubs with an active license can create new shows.
Creating a New Show/Trial
- Go to File → New Show/Trial
- Fill in the event details:
- Show/Trial name
- Date(s)
- Location
- Club
- Click Save
Setting Up Classes and Rings
- Open your newly created show/trial
- Navigate to the Classes section
- Add classes for each ring or division in your event
- Set the judge, ring number, and any class-specific details
Adding Entries
You can add entries in three ways:
- Manual entry: Use the entry form to add dogs one at a time
- Spreadsheet import: Go to File → Import to bring in entries from a CSV or Excel file (see our article on Importing Data from Spreadsheets)
- myK9Q: If you use the myK9Q mobile app, entries can be synced from the app to the desktop software
Using myK9Q for Show Management
The myK9Q cloud app lets you manage entries from any device. Visit myk9q.com to learn more about linking the app to your show or trial.
