myK9Q 1 Show License

$65.00

The myK9Q (Qualified\Queue) is a mobile software application that allows exhibitors to self check-in and view their results immediately. The dog is scored via the app at ring side. myK9Q works in conjunction with mySWT (AKC Scent Work) or myNWT (UKC Nosework).

Exhibitors can see and entry list for each class and mark themselves checked-in, having a conflict or absent (pulled\scratched). The dogs are timed and scored via the App and the results are imported into mySWT or myNWT for placements and printing of reports. This will make results available to exhibitors faster and make your trial more efficient.

It does not replace a Judge’s paper scoresheet, but reduces the need for data entry by the trial secretary.

A valid mySWT or myNWT subscription is required. You must enter the provided license key for myK9Q on the show page of mySWT or myNWT to use the myK9Q App.

You must have the follwoing versions or later:
mySWT version 2.7.11
myNWT version 4.7.9

Only 1 License Key per show is required. Exhibitors and Judges do not need a License Key.

Internet connectivity via WiFi, Cell data service or a Cell hotspot is required at the show site. This service may not be available or adequate in all areas of your show site. The developers cannot be responsible for issues related to poor connectivity.

Critical Pre-Event Check
Follow the Pre-Event Checklist below for a Smooth Scoring Experience

This app relies on a stable internet connection and adequate device performance to record scores accurately in real-time. To prevent delays, errors, or data loss during a live event, please perform the following checks at the event location before scoring begins:

Internet Connectivity (Wi-Fi or Cellular):
– Wi-Fi: Connect to the event’s Wi-Fi network and verify strong signal strength in your scoring area
– Cellular: If Wi-Fi is unavailable or unreliable, ensure you have strong cellular data coverage (4G/5G recommended)
– Connection Test: Visit Fast.com or Speedtest.net to verify:
– Download speed: At least 5 Mbps recommended
– Latency/Ping: Under 100ms is ideal
A weak or intermittent connection can cause scores to be lost or delayed.

Device & Browser Performance:
– Modern Device: Use a device from the last 2-3 years with sufficient memory and processing power. Older or entry-level devices may run the app slowly, causing delays in scoring.
– Updated Browser: Use the latest version of Chrome, Safari, or Edge for best performance.
– Browser Performance Test: Run the Speedometer test at Speedometer.BrowserBench.org to gauge your device and browser performance:
– Score of 10+ is good, 20+ is excellent
– If your score is below 5, consider using a newer device or different browser

Final App Check:
After confirming connectivity and performance, open the app and navigate through its main functions to ensure it operates smoothly from your scoring location.

Completing these checks is essential for maintaining the integrity of the show’s scoring data.
